Rooh e Shabbir Woh Manzar To Bata Lyrics

Rooh e Shabbir Woh Manzar To Bata,
Jab Huwee Shehr e Madina Say Judai Ho Gi.

O the soul of Shabbir (title of Saiyyidina Imam Hussain), could you describe that scene
When you departed from the city of Madina?

Yeh To Zainab Hi Bata Sakti Hai,
Laut Kar Kaisay Madinay Main Woh Aai Ho Gi.

Only Zainab (Sister of Saiyyidina Imam Hussain) could be able to describe that;
How she had returned to Madina (after the martyrdom of Saiyyidina Imam Hussain and family)!

Kar Kay Rozay Ki Taraf Chehra Yeh Bolay Shabbir,
Ham Rahain Ya Na Rahain Nana Huzoor, Hashr Tak Aap Ki Ummat Ki Bhalai Ho Gi.

Turning towards the tomb of Holy Prophet (PBUH), this is what Shabbir said:
O esteemed grandfather (Holy Prophet PBUH), whether we live or not,
Your (PBUH) Ummah will be blessed until the day of resurrection.

Lash Akbar Ki Utha Laye Jo Khaimoon Main Hussain,
Shehar Bano Hi Bata Sakti Hai, Kis Ghazab Ki Woh Qayamat Thi Jo Tutti Ho Gi.

How Hussain brought the deceased Akbar, carrying him to the tents!
Only Shehar Bano could be able to describe it;
How oppressive it would have been for her to endure it!

Jalte Khaimoon Main Julasti Huyi Sughra Masoom,
Aie Falak Tu Nay Yeh Kisay Dekha, Turbat e Zahra Madine Main Dehelti Ho Gi.

In the flaming tents, the innocent Sughra sweltered.
O skies, how could you have witnessed that?
The tomb of Zahra (Saiyyida Fatima, her grandmother) would have been trembling (with sorrow) in Madina.

Rakh Kay Lashoon Ko Kitaroon Main Yeh Bolay Shabbir,
Tu Jo Razi Hai To Hum Razi Hain, Sar e Tasleem Ke Teri Yehi Marzi Hogi.

Laying down the bodies in rows, this is what Shabbir said:
If this is Your pleasure (Allah Ta’ala), we are also pleased
Surrendering to You (Allah Ta’ala) must be your wish.

Ho Ke Tayaar Chalay Shah Jo Karbal Ki Taraf,
Yeh Sakina Ko Koi Ja Dekhe, Kis Tarha Gorhay Ki Tangoon Say Woh Lipti Ho Gi.

How the prince (Saiyyidina Imam Hussain) prepared and moved towards the Karbal (Place in Iraq where Saiyyidina Imam Hussain and his family had been martyrs)
Someone should have seen Sakina (6 year old daughter of Saiyyidina Imam Hussain) then;
How she had been clinging on to the horse’s leg (so the horse would not take her father, as he was about to be Martyred)!

Noor Ko Hashr Main Rakna Hai Sagoon Main Shabbir,
Teri Rahoon Main Para Ho Ga Kahin Aas Ik Nazr e Inayat Ki Lagayi Ho Gi.

The author (requesting Saiyyidina Imam Hussain), O Shabbir, keep Noor as one of your pets on the day of ressurection
He (author) would probably be lying somewhere in your pathway
Waiting with the hope of gaining your favor.

The Official Muharram Single Rooh-e-Shabbir 2011 by Milad Raza Qadri inspired from the lecture of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri titled ‘Karbala Sey Shaam Tak’ and is written by Allama Noor Ahmed Noor (MQI Norway).
